How your order arrives

Our smoked meats are despatched frozen in sealed or vacuum-packed packaging, insulated refrigeration foil pouches with frozen gel packs, and strong double-wall outer boxes. This packaging is designed to keep your order cold during transit.

When your order arrives

Unpack your delivery as soon as possible. Products may arrive frozen, partially frozen or chilled.

  • Still frozen or containing ice crystals: place straight into the freezer.
  • Defrosted but still properly chilled: refrigerate immediately and follow the storage and use-by instructions on the product label. Do not refreeze unless the label says it is suitable.

Your delivery details

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address, along with a safe-place or neighbour instruction. As our products are perishable, we may be unable to change delivery details once despatched. If a problem is caused by the courier, contact us so we can investigate.

Festive delivery

Christmas delivery 2026: your questions answered

Do you deliver over Christmas 2026?

Yes. Festive deliveries are scheduled for Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December. We do not deliver from 23–28 December.

When should I order?

Place your order by Wednesday 16 December for the festive delivery window. Ordering the week before gives you extra freezer time. Smoked pit ham and turkey crown Christmas preorders close earlier: midnight Monday 7 December.

Why order early?

Henry’s smoked meats freeze well. Have your order delivered when it suits you, then keep it frozen until you are ready to defrost it for Christmas.

How does it arrive?

Our Christmas smoked meats are despatched frozen and vacuum packed in insulated packaging. We will send tracking information when your order is dispatched. Parcels may arrive frozen, partially frozen or chilled.

What should I do when it arrives?

  1. Unpack promptly. If the meat is still frozen or contains ice crystals, put it straight into the freezer.
  2. If it has thawed but is still properly chilled, refrigerate immediately and follow the pack label. Do not refreeze unless the label says it is suitable.
  3. Before serving, defrost in the fridge in its sealed pack. Allow enough time for the cut to thaw fully — this may take 1–2 days or longer for larger cuts. Follow the pack instructions.
  4. Use by the date and within the time shown on the pack. Reheat as directed on the label and in our reheating guide.

Can I collect?

Local collection is available by arrangement until Wednesday 23 December. Please agree your collection time with the team.
